Women's Basketball '24-25 Recap: All-SCC For Belton, Oliver
It was a trying season for first-year head coach Jason Jaramillo, but the Los Angeles Harbor College women's basketball team expects to continue a rebuilding process going into next season.
The 2024-25 Seahawks did have a marquee player in sophomore forward Nyah Belton, who made it to the All-South Coast Conference South Division First Team. Belton averaged 20.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, and led SCC players in blocked shots at 2.3 per contest.
She had a 41-point performance in the team's season opener v. Desert.
Another solid player was second-year forward Daniesha Oliver, who led the conference in rebounding at 12.8 per game with a 2.5 points average.
