LAHC Men's Basketball Collects 3 SCC Honorable Mentions
The Los Angeles Harbor College men's basketball team had three players chosen 2025-26 All-South Coast Conference South Division honorable mention.
The 6-team league allows only 11 elite players to make the conference First Team and the Seahawks' 12-16 overall record and 3-7, fifth place finish in the South, resulted in just HMs for the squad this season.
The honorable mention trio includes sophomore guard Kristian Jemerson, second-year forward Devvon Wilmington and freshman guard Drew Alexander.
Jemerson averaged a team-best 15 points a game, leading the Seahawks in 3-point baskets with 47. He also paced the them in steals with 44 while averaging 4.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists.
Wilmington averaged 5.6 points and 4 rebounds while Alexander tallied 8.7 points and 5 boards per contest.
Under long-time head coach Tony Carter-Loza, Harbor sparkled early in the season with a 6-game win streak in pre-conference play and had one other solid stretch in winning three straight over Los Angeles City and Pasadena City in crossovers and its SCC South opener v. Long Beach City. The team ended on a winning note with a 93-91, double-overtime home win over El Camino.
