Seahawks Arredondo, Bauer Named All-SCC Baseball

Freshman first baseman Sam Arredondo and transfer sophomore pitcher Lucas Bauer were LA Harbor College's selections on the 2026 All-South Coast Conference Team, both on the Second Team.

Arrendondo batted .306 overall, crushed six home runs and added 17 RBI. The 6-foot-2 slugger attended Orange View High. 

Bauer was twice selected as a CCCBCA State Pitcher of the Week and was 2-3 with a 3.82 ERA with 48 strikeouts in nine starts before an injury cut short his season at the end of March. He came to LA Harbor after pitching at Allegheny College in Pennsylvania as a freshman. 

It was a big improvement this season for the Seahawks, who went from last place in 2025 to sixth in the 9-team, SCC this season.

Harbor won 2-of-3 series v. both Rio Hondo and Compton while winning single games v. state #5-ranked El Camino (a co-conference champ with Mt. San Antonio). In non-conference play, they beat current Super Regional qualifier Fullerton. 

Freshman third baseman Aiden Brasher led the team in RBI (29), doubles (13) and hits (43) while batting .293. Sophomore outfielder Andres Roman hit .297 and frosh outfielder Ben Reynolds was batting .333 with 21 stolen bases but his year also was cut short in early March due to an injury. 

Frosh starters Ryan Torii (4-4, 62 innings) and Aaron Alba (two wins, 57 strikeouts in 65 innings) were standouts to go with Bauer. 

The Seahawks are directed, by long-time head coach Marco Alvillar.
